The annual Oxford-Lafayette march and community celebration honoring Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., sponsored by Eta Zeta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Ink., will begin in the parking lot of the historical Second Missionary Baptist Church on Jackson Avenue. The March will proceed to The Square in front of City Hall and will end back at the historical Freedman Town community marker on MLK Street near Second Missionary Baptist Church. The community program will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the church’s sanctuary. This year's theme is the "Power of Love".
